Pereira from WBA....
Looks as if more and more truth behind us looking at signing the lad, with WBA still owing us money for Diangana, an initial loan deal with a view of Permanent is looking more and more likely....

Thoughts?

Hope so
Where does it leave Lingard?
Do we want both?

Re: Pereira from WBA....
Lingard is staying at Man Utd. Forget about him.

Pereira - yes please.

Re: Pereira from WBA....
Makes sense to use the fact they owe us £ from the Diangana deal to get him on board.

Him, Benrahma and Bowen behind Antonio is a pretty decent forward 4.

Yea, the fact that Lingard aint coming back and they owe us still, is making this look like it will happen. Will be a good start.

a loan is only worth it if we have first option on buying him knowing those clueless cunts, they won't even be thinking of that

Re: Pereira from WBA....
It's reported the deal would be exactly that, as I said in the OP, Mike?

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread

We are not in advanced talks for Pereira.

That's him signing tomorrow then.

Re: Pereira from WBA....
no, no mention of first option in the opening post. then talking about a view to a permanent transfer means to me that they don't want to spend money

Re: Pereira from WBA....
They wouldn't have to spend money because they owe us for the Diangana deal.

Mate, keep up will you.

Apart from hearing his name, I don't know nothing about him.

To those that have seen him, what's he like?

Re: Pereira from WBA....
Creative, Coffee.

Only concern is that he is a bit lightweight.

Pereira STATS for his debut season in the Premier League was 11 goals 6 assists for a relegated team.

I might be wrong, but I think Lingard has never had as good a season as that in all the years he's played in the Premier League for a team that's much, much better. Although in his defence he probably didn't play nowhere near as many minutes as Pereira has this season in those seasons.

I like the idea of this signing. If Lingard wants to sit on a bench eating fucking black pudding or whatever those northern wankers do then that's up to him, the unambitious cunt. This geezer looked the business, hopefully his attitude passes the Moyes test, which I believe is being shouted at loudly in scottish and not getting the hump about it.

he's exactly what we want. pay the money you cunts

Sounds good, Mr Trundle.

I wonder what Diangana makes of this.

Re: Pereira from WBA....
I would rather take this lad instead of Lingard.

Objectively after exploding out of the blocks, Lingard did start to slow down a bit for us in his last few games.

A good player for sure, but this lad is 5 years younger isn't he?

Him and Benrahma on each wing would create problems for most teams, though I think we would rarely see them in the side at the same time.

Signing him for £20m and selling Bown for £40m would be good business - it's not as easy as that though I know.

Re: Pereira from WBA....
How much did WBA pay for Diagana? 15m wasn't it? Which they still owe...

Give them 10m and be done with it. Not much at all really.
